Reality star Teresa Giudice has been released from prison just in time for Christmas.
The star of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey left jail early on Wednesday, after serving almost a year behind bars.
The 43-year-old mom of four was reunited with her attorney, James Leonard Jr. when she left the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, to serve the remainder of her 15-month term in home confinement.
Her release means she can spend Christmas with her husband, Joe, and their four daughters, Gabriella, Gia, Audrina and Milania
Teresa plead guilty to multiple fraud charges alongside her husband almost two years ago.
Although Joe has been sentenced to 41 months in prison for his crimes – which could also see him potentially deported – he is not expected to start his term until late March.
“She is free,” Leonard told People magazine of her release.
