SIMON Cowell is being sued for $5million after a woman was injured during auditions of America’s Got Talent.
The 56-year-old creator of the show is named in the lawsuit, after a woman tripped on cables left laying on the floor, during filming for the show in April.
D’Arcy Gurr claims she was at the auditions in Los Angeles, when she was injured by a fall caused by the wires.
The incident reportedly took place while they filmed at the Los Angeles County Fair and she claims overcrowding in the busy studio contributed to her accident.
The NBC talent competition was in its 10th season at the time and featured judges Heidi Klum, Mel B, Howard Stern and Nick Cannon.
