Hours earlier Charlie announced to the world in a live interview with Matt Lauer on the Today show the he is HIV positive and has been for about 4 years.

We tried to ask Denise if she had heard from Charlie but she just kept driving……….

Our hearts go out to her and her two daughters  and also to Charlie who took a brave and meaningful step coming forward in such a public way. He  joins the ranks of Magic Johnson and Greg Louganis as proof that having the virus isn’t a death sentence
