Country star Craig Strickland has tragically been found dead.
The body of the 29-year-old frontman of Backroad Anthem was recovered by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol this morning.
The singer went missing over a week ago while on a duck hunt with a friend during winter storm Goliath.
Authorities say the body was found in Bear Creek Cove on Kaw Lake
Wife of just one year Helen Strickland confirmed the sad news on her Twitter page. She wrote: “Craig was found today. He is safe with his Father in Heaven. Thank you Lord for leading us to him today. I will praise you, Amen.”

The singer’s remains turned up in the same area where his friend Chase Morland, 22, was found dead on December 28, a day after their boat capsized during a duck hunting trip.
Strickland’s pet Labrador Sam was found alive, guarding the body of the singer’s dead friend until it was discovered by authorities.
