Coldplay are set to welcome a very high profile guest on stage at the Super Bowl.
Pepsi this week confirmed Beyonce will join the band on-stage during their performance at the Pepsi Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show on Feb. 7.
It is assumed Coldplay will deliver a live performance of ‘Hymn for the Weekend’ which is featured on their album, A Head Full of Dreams and features vocals from Bey.
Let’s hope her publicist is a little more relaxed about ths year’s appearance.
For let’s not forget the furore after her 2013 Super Bowl show, where Queen Bey’s publicist demanded a series of unflattering photos of her performance were erased from entertainment websites.
The 34-year-old singer will not be the only one to take the stage with Coldplay, Bruno Mars is also expected to appear.
In a video interview promoting the show, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin said: “It’s the greatest moment of our band’s life. We’re going to give it everything we have,”
Super Bowl 50 will take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016.
